Was wondering if anyone out there has good knowledge on Treestand placement and is willing to help me put them in the right spots it's a good piece of property with agricultural hardwood lots and open fields in the Hillsburgh area lots of deer and lots of turkey around in exchange I would be willing to let someone hunt there with me

See now that's how it's done. Offer up some property and you will get plenty of help from experienced guys who in turn will probably take you out as well. Good job.

Try to focus on a travel route where they have reasons to pass by such as routes to food/water/shelter. If you have elevation it's nice to get on a ridge to hit the thermals as well if you can.

Deer are no different than fish, they relate to structure, edges, and food sources. Fish at times will relate to weed edges as travel routes, deer will relate to heavy bush, i.e. cedar swamps, and the edge of hardwoods as travel routes. This time of year with the snow on the ground it's pretty easy to pick up their travel routes. Look for funneling areas where two or more trails intersect and pick a spot keeping in mind what direction the wind comes from most of the time. Have two or three different areas so the deer don't pattern you if you tend to use the same spot day after day. Also change up the times of day you hunt again so the deer don't pattern you coming and going at the same time everyday.
