I suppose you could remove your other pins but odds are your remaining 25 yard pin won't be nicely centered in the housing.

Like anything, you get what you pay for. I personally buy my HHA's used to save some $. The slider models (as opposed to the dial models) are cheaper. And I prefer them for the simplicity and lighter weight. The next step is deciding how big of a housing you would like, and how much fiber optic. Price increases accordingly.

This is the nice big sight picture I was referring to. This is a 2" with 0.010" fibre. (HHA model XL5510)

If you shoot your bow enough and know its abilities you can compensate for a longer shot. I personally shoot the smallest pin available with the largest peep. I like a nice clear view when shooting and multi-pins tended to wash out the target in low light. With a single pin you shoot the same way every time, it always has a nice clear view and almost no guess work, you do what you've done hundreds/thousands of times before in practice and make it happen. You tend to see the branches and other details you may miss seeing with multipins. I find that the cons are very minor compared to the benefits I gained. I also have pins from 10-100 yards for targets which I don't know would be possible with a multipin. We shoot a lot and it seems to suit my needs and has resolved problems that I have ran into over the year. Basically trial and error over the years has led me to the setup I have now and am glad to have it. Shooting deer and other biggame is stressful/exciting enough, so anytime you can remove a variable to make the shot count only benefits the shooter.

as most experienced archers will attest shooting a bow is about feel and what works for you.
After you have proper mechanics you need to try a few and settle on what works best for you. I started with a 4 pin moved to a 5 pin then to a single pin and now finally an adjustable 3 pin. next is pin size for hunting purposes I like to have progressive pins my two shorter pins I like 0.019 pins and a 0.010 pin for my longest pin that I also use as my floater. Last what colour works best for you, I can`t see red very well so all 3 of my pins are green
