Pop Up Blind Stolen in Bright- Absolute RAGE!!
Dropped my 4yr old son off at school this morning and headed to my hunting property 10mins down the road in Bright. Walk out to the edge of the corn field and low and behold some trespassing, low-life scum of the earth stole my pop-up blind. They were kind enough to leave my Roots camping chair behind (likely because it wasn't camo). The absolute RAGE that I still feel 9hrs later is beyond description. The things I wish upon this individual would make Tarantino smile.
This is the first time I've been victimized by such a piece of scum (with hunting gear, cars several times). I know I'm not the first, but I am still shaking. I talked to a buddy who's had 6 game cams and ladder stands stolen. I can't imagine. I'll be keeping a close eye on kijiji but it's likely a "fellow" hunter who'll be using it for himself and his buddies. Funny enough we kicked two trespassers off the property during the first week of the gun hunt. They played "stupid", which wasn't a difficult stretch for them to play.
Big Game Tree Stands Charger blind. If you're reading this I still have the receipt, box and carry bag. PM me
Thank you, rant over.....................

That sucks man, but is there any possible chance that those crazy 100 kph winds the other night might have relocated it? Maybe a scouting walk around the area and you may find it in a fence row or up in the tree branches. That wind sure was nuts.
Anyways, just a thought!!
Hope you find it.

I feel you're pain. Your gear isn't safe , even on private property.

Good call, You never know, I'd take a good look before accepting that it is gone forever.....

I also hate thieves but the wind is something to consider as it relocated my blind as well but only 40 yards or so.

My tree stand has a cable lock on it and I take my cam down during the gun hunts. Just the thought that I have to lock up my own stuff on my own property really bothers me, but you'd have to be crazy not to. We all know there are millions of absolute crap people out in this world, but even good people can succumb to temptation.
Being alone in the woods with no witnesses and seeing a flashy new camera bungee corded to a tree is the definition of temptation.

wow that sucks and just a day after i found a nice pop up blind abandoned out in a field... small world... j/k
i worry about my tree stand/ camera every year when i have it out at the bear bait, so far so good knock on wood. a neighbour has one of those cameras that sends pics right to his cell phone, so if it captures somebody stealing it, at least he has a pic...
fishy steve
id rather be lost in the woods, than found in the city!

Sorry to hear it man. I'd be fuming too. Fortunately the hunters that trespass on my private property are nice enough to leave my cameras alone. Lol
