We own a f150 4x4 supercrew ecoboost and we just love it, it pulled our 30 ft trailer to Jims lake without hesitation wouldnt trade it for the world.11,000 pulling towing capacity

Update after almost 2 weeks. I just love it, rear view camera helps a lot with parking, average mileage with really a mix of highway and city is at 14.5L/100kms, which is same as my ML320 used to do.
I really like the power - my wife was really impresesed on the qew when i floored the gas pedal for a quick demo.

Thank you all for the reviews, tips and opinions.

When the time comers I'll get another F150 as well, but I'd opt for the 5 Litre over the Eco boost. The difference in mileage isn't noticeable and turbo's scare me for longevity.

Grasu, congrats on the new truck.
Absolutely! Dealers can not deny you warranty with it in there. And yes if we find the failure was directly related to the programmer that particular repair wouldn't be warranty. However I knew there was going to be a new engine installed in my truck before the warranty ended and therefore waited to put in the programmer with a fresh engine! So far so good. Not a hitch and the shift patterns have been improved. Just waiting for the latest tune to come out and hoping for even better results![/QUOTE]

I have the 2013 eco I bought about 6 months ago, the 2013 is exactly the same as the 2014's. I do love the kick of the of torque \ turbo combination, the lag however takes a little adjusting to but when they spin up she takes off.

I run a high octane perf tune as well when not towing and love merging onto the highways, there is no problem spinning the 35's with a 6" lift full tilt. Yeah fuel mileage can suck if I am hammering down but it gets me through the 3' snow banks into my driveway when heading up North and into some deep back lake road slop.

My daughter just got her learners permit in photo and it took her no time asking for me to take her out driving a few months back At the end of the day I am very happy with the ecoboost, have 40k on it now and it hasn't missed a beat.

Where do you put the deer? If you want fuel mileage and deer hauling, the Japanese Mini-truck is where it's at. Lol. As long as you don't need to get anywhere fast.

Now you're talking. I think these small trucks are pretty good on those logging roads and if you don't wanna trash up your real truck.

I bought a 2014 Ram eco diesel and let me tell you, fuel economy is amazing! I have 3500 km on it now, my commute to work is 8km all stop and go city, we have taken 2 highway trips and my average since new is 9.6 l/100 km. average speed of 40km. I believe the highway ratings when I set the cruise at 110km I float between 6-8 L/100km depending on hills/terrain. Going tow with it for the first time this weekend will let you know how it goes.
