It's sad that this things happen.
I was just reflecting the other day that 50 years ago I came into Canada at the age of 23, alone, with no money and I can walk young street in Toronto at midnight without fear.
Petty crimes were unheard of. Anyone who steal was desperate or really hungry.
To steal a pop up tent?
That is really low and it's not going to improve I'm afraid.
But it is with comfort that we still have faith on goodwill and trust to our fellowmen.
To think of how many of us actually have money stolen from their pockets?
Some but there are still a lot of good people out there.
I hope the OP recovers his blind.
To whoever did this just in case you are looking, think of all the good things others have done for you, how ever small it was.
