Head mounted camera
Anyone familiar with these cameras that you can mount on your head so you can film what you are looking at while getting ready to shoot a deer - I think some ATV riders have something like that on their helmets - I was thinking that it would be neat to record your hunting adventures - would be especially nice when your bow hunting - to record where you hit the deer - thanks

I have a GoPro that I strap on my head. Its good for short distances but anything over 50 yds doesn't show well. Here's a link to a video I took last year with this camera.

Nice video. The gopro's have 3 settings for field of view. Kinda looks like yours is set at 'wide', which is 170degree. If you change the setting to 'narrow', it should reduce the angle to 90 degrees and things will appear A LOT closer.
A trophy is in the eye of the bow holder

Thanks for that, I will try out the different view. I shot a buck at 96 yards on Monday, standing still, dropped it immediately, but can barely see it on the go pro

So you strap the camera to your forehead - I guess that makes it a little rough if you want to look through a scope on your rifle or crossbow - I'm thinking of getting one but wanted to know if there are any problems using one - that was some shot Huntitail made on that buck with a shotgun no less - so what's your overall option - are they worth buying
