    Default Timney Trigger kit

I just installed the Timney kit in my 870 super mag. Turkey/varmint gun. Nice , crisp, 3 lb. trigger pull. WOW! Great investment. Did my 20 ga. 870 deer gun as well. Has anyone else installed these kits in their firearms?

Had them installed in two Ruger 77s made a world of difference both light and crisp vs heavy with creep. Bit of a hassle getting them at the time, had to pick up in the States as no one could ship to Canada. Would highly recommend.

I had no problem getting it shipped from the States. There is a Canadian dist. in SW Ontario. Can be found on Canadian Gun Nutz.

    Haven't yet.......
Will be looking into a couple kits for some of my guns that can not be adjusted. Spent a couple hours on my model 70 featherweight the other day. Took it from 9 lbs down to 2.7 and cleaned up any burrs. What a difference.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

I've got a gorgeous Ruger 77, and was wondering if the stock trigger can be adjusted, or just go ahead with the Timney..
Since you've gone that route, do you mind telling me who installed it for you?

    Thanks..

I don't know about your Ruger, but the kit can be installed in a Remington 870, in 10 Min.

I put a Timney in a Ruger Mk77, Rem 700. Easy to install

Very good triggers. They both had Zero creep, kept mine about 2lbs. Some people felt it was too light for a hunting rifle, But I like light triggers.
