Has too much time on their hands
price check please
I have the chance to buy a ramx canoe with a flat back for a motor .it comes with a 2 hp Honda .was a rental unit and I am no sure what to pay for the boat with the motor it belongs to a family member so I do not want to feel bad about a offer nor do I want to over pay ..both are in alright shape and would work well for my duck hunting so were to start Duth

Those Hondas go for about 900 new so depending on year/condition I would pay between 300-500 for the motor.

I owned one of the Coleman flat backed canoes (called a Scanoe), and sold it for $350 a few years back. The motor would be worth at least that much, if not a little more if in good working order.

I wouldn't touch that canoe with a twenty foot pole. I found them to be a POS. Heavy, no central thwart to balance for portage (must be 90 lbs) , or to even attach a yoke. The plastic oilcans, they do not paddle worth crap. Might be OK if you never have to carry it anywhere.

Not a good paddling canoe, but tougher than hell. Probably a great choice for duck hunting.
