the first place you need to take it is to your garage or shop and properly skin scrape and dry it on the proper sized coyote from board , then it can be marketed through one of the two fur auction houses here in ontario

Or you drop it off at a friendly trapper's place, if you don't have all the right tools. Not going to make any money that way.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

No dumb questions, but there can be some dumb responses...

Answer to your question is yes, there is a season (bow and gun run the same) down here in Southern Ontario... The season for southern Ontario is open all year round... saying that...

So you know..... they are having pups right now...most get targeted in the fall and winter...

An old thread but it showed up on the google search so I will use it.

I went to Tim Hortons today on the way home from cottage reno work, don't ask why I am not doing more fun things this week, just think schedules and contractors, anyway they said no deer but some coyotes. I said shoot the buggers then! They said they didn't have a tag, reading the MNR there is no tag required. For 84, 83, 82 is there a tag needed for Bruce or Grey counties or both, they were close to the dividing line. I haven't found anything in googling so?????

    https://www.grey.ca/by-laws?ss360Query=coyote

There is some info. on compensation for damage and bounties but a county tag/license I see nothing about it.

Oh... and if there are townships or counties that require a tag (not MNR) outside Bruce and Grey, let us/others know too.
    Thanks

Doing that most won't complain... but is it legal?

They said they had hunted the area for over 30 years and were sure though. I questioned them on it since I had read the MNR since I have even seen a coyote in my backyard here in Brampton and at the cottage I have seen dog? coyote? mountain lion? tracks in the mud even early and late when few but locals are around. They were sure you needed a county license, maybe a license for animal control for farmers, I see the by-laws mention farmers paying a hunter, anyone know if that was it?
