Default When a Fisher Attacks......Your Trail Camera (Ottawa, Jan. 2)

    Hello All,

Set up the trail camera last week, adjacent to a small creek and where some fresh fisher tracks had been spotted. First night had one come in, although as you can see from the footage, it apparently doesn't appreciated getting caught on film.

Cool creatures....that are definitely a little nasty.

(watch in 1080p HD for best quality)

    Cheers,

    Justin

Indeed, bowj! Was happy that he put it back in the correct position, lol! I did review the footage until I came home, and left the camera out, so haven't seen what damage he did. Will be checking on it tomorrow.
Will post another video from that same night, which shows him running up a tree.

    Cheers,
    Justin

I still have a family of them living somewhere close by. I see their tracks all over the yard both here and the neighbors and there isn't a cat in sight,either.... or anything else for that matter. Those little buggers kill everything that PO's them. Nasty! Can you imagine what their big brothers, the Wolverine would be like to tangle with?
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Put a single frozen fish fillet out this time, Hunter John, just as smell to get it within camera range. Put that out after I set up the cam. I am thinking it might have had something to do with the IR, as this unit is not a no-glo one. Perhaps the faint red light made it see blood, haha!!! Curious to see what damage is done to my camera tomorrow when I check on it.

    Cheers,
    Justin

You might have left some fish sent on the camera too. I know that's how mine got trashed by a bear.

Could very well have. Now that I think, I had the frozen fillet (sealed in a plastic bag) sitting in my backpack with the cam. Quite possibly that smell transferred over. And yes, I can just imagine what a bear would do one of these!

    Cheers,
