Rabbit population is down on my place from last year especially comparing from this spring and I don't even shoot them.
It doesn't help that we have a family of foxes that I don't bother for now, and of course the ever present coyotes.

Is that how far you travel to rabbit hunt? In my beagling days we used to hunt up around Markdale, Brucedale, Grand Valley. Those covers must not be recognizable now.

We hunt London and surrounding areas. With this fresh snow can't wait to get out Saturday. Dogs are all pumped up to like they know what is going on.
