The Hawk caps that I have had 3 of them , all started to leak around the side windows, they Leer we have now 8 plus years has been the best, no leaks of any type and the back tailgate is the best made in the business.

Like my Leer, got the fold out front window option. Just flip 2 clips and the window tips in and down so you can clean both the topper and rear window of the truck. ( I don't have a slider) Also got tinted windows for the sides and back so it's harder for the midnite shoppers to see what I have in the bed.
I'd rather be fishing! Unless you want to go hunting!

if you're looking at century or leer they normally have a coupon on their site for free upgrades or some cash off. they are both made by the same company and the new century caps are coming out of the leer plant.

Just out of curiosity, how expensive are they to rent? It might interest me for exactly the same reasons.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Just noticed another source for used caps the other day. A local used truck dealership has a pile of caps around back for sale. Apparently they get stripped off the incoming trucks and sold separately. Good as new and 1/2 the price.

Might also be a place to look at to rent one for a few days.....most car dealers like to make money where they can

I've got a Raider. No complaints. I agree with other posters that if your truck has rear slider to get window at front of cap. We would let the air flow through for the dogs on hot days. I also had a roof rack for aluminum boat. Cap is ten years old now and still going strong. Dogs loved the cap over the crates.
