LF wings/birds for training

Looking for some wings/ birds to introduce my lab puppy to. ( I did not get to hunt this year)

Couple of years ago now and not exactly close to you but, I picked up a couple dozen mallard for a ckc hunt test.

It was an "Amish" farm near St.Jacobs area.

Other sources you could try are livestock auctions. Can get pigeon, pheasant duck etc etc. Just depends on what comes across the block.

Could also try a game preserve for pheasant, Chucker.

I started with pigeons when dog was a puppy. Also had a goose wing (couldn't throw very well) and a mallard wing on a bumper(duct tape)

For beginning with a small pup a canvas bumper tossed indoors down a hall way with all exits but one closed is best. This helps with guarantee ing pup comes back to you
