Guilty conscious that why. Lol. Besides she comes out hunting with me. She's my favorite partner. More ways than one. I'd never pull that over her. She doesn't know the calibers. But she knows what they all look like.

Ruger Mini-30 is about all that remains on my list.
If .223 was as cheap as 7.62x39 I'd get a Mini-14, but its not even close.

If I could find a gently used and unmolested waffletop in .30 I would be happy. Have a .35 now.
