I am looking for a couple of longer Swivl-Eze 238 seat posts for my Sylvan Explorer 1600. It came with 4 seats but they are all pretty low and when on the casting deck I find it too low to properly fish from. Do they make extensions to add on to my existing ones or do I need to buy new longer ones?

Any idea where in Ontario I can find these? I check the web page and could not find their web site - just places in the US that sell them.

    Thanks,

    John

My crestliner has same posts, they are tough to find. You will have to order on line and pay the price. I priced out a second butt seat with hydrolic post, mount base and seat it was close to $500.

I went to a local steel supplier and just bought some thick wall aluminum pipe . They cut it size and cost about $ 10.00. Don't know if it will work for you , but worked well for are boat.

Bass Pro website has them. Ordered a 27" plus the mount, I think it came to just over $100. Not sure if they have them in store, I haven't been in a Bass Pro store for years. Keep an eye on Kijiji, saw a few 238s last year but not the size I was after. Also, if you happen to find a great deal on eBay or anywhere in the USA, consider shipping it to one of the parcel services just over the border... 'Ive saved hundreds by keeping the shipping in the USA and taking a drive over to pick it up.

    cheers
