Trapping Course
Hey Chevy...
Where would the trapping course be held, and what are the course details? I'm in Belleville and if not too far/not too many trips, I would be interested in joining the course as well.

Has too much time on their hands
if you are just starting out you have to look at the area you will be trapping before you can tell what kind of animals you will have to trap ,if you have a stream or ponds you will have rats mink and coon ,as well as fox and yotes ,if it is just a hardwoods bush then you will not likely find rats and mink ,once you know were you are going to trap then you can tell what you will need for traps ,now if you have a stream that emptys in to a pond you can set your floats for rats and your banks for mink and coon but you may as well set the lane going in to the area for yotes and fox as you are going in to check traps anyway .then if you happen to find a beaver dam or a feed bed you can put out a 330 set as well .there may be a oak tree near that is full of grey or black squirrels so a few rat traps may get you a yummy supper as well as a pelt or two .learn your area figure out what kind of animals live there and study the types of traps that are legal in your area for that animal .make the most out of your time and learn something new everytime you go out .Dutch
