I have a T3 light in stainless left 308 Win. Love it! It weights a little over 6 lbs. Very accurate. Nice trigger press. Might be a little light for magnum calibers. I also find the synthetic stock makes a lot of noise in the thick alders. For what it is worth.

I've owned one X. It's gone. I have 7 tikkas sitting downstairs. I'm anal about accuracy, feed, function.

Tikka fan here too. I have 4 of them. Nothing wrong with the Xbolt, I just don't like them.

All my Tikkas are my main hunting rifles, Only think I dislike is the plastic trigger guard and expensive plastic magazines. All accurate and nice handling guns though!

Tikka T3 is in some cases cheaper than the X-bolt. Mine fires beautifully. The plastic mags are foolishly expensive.

I handled both and went with the x-bolt, felt nicer to me. The tikka had a cheap feel to it, the synthetic stock seemed cheap and flimsy, the deal killer was the Plastic bolt shroud. Payed a little more for the browning but I feel I got a more solid rifle, has a shorter bolt throw then the tikka and the rotary magazine works smooth. Also shoots moa no problem.
