Looks like the fur sale business is moving off shore; the political issues with some of the biggest buyers means they have to take the pelts to a more neutral setting to sell them. I guess that's not a big issue as long as it doesn't prevent the trappers from still selling their pelts.

No sales of coon pelts is not a good thing....and $20 for beaver isn't going to make anyone rich

No mention of Fisher pelts..is there a reason, are their pelts better later in the season ?

I'm just learning about trapping, not having a lot to do with it,so,are these prices considered high, average or low? I was surprised to see Black Bear at $130 and Coyote at at $37. I'm just curious.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Good thing gas is cheap. The guys with the big lines and big beaver quotas are not going to even break even. Your time, fuel, and wear and tear on your truck and snow machine will be a tough pill this year. I'll be surprised if you don't see an increase in the availability of registered lines. Some guys might see this as a good time to call her quits.
