If you're shooting sub MOA groups with this rifle, the trigger can't be all that bad.

I got ordered a Boyd's prairie hunter nutmeg stock for my savage axis .270win stainless when they first came out- looks great, and much more rigid fore end then that cheap plastic stock it came with.
I also put a rifle basix adjustable trigger in it - for those asking about after market triggers, this one is awesome. breaks like glass at 2.5lbs. The original was over 6lbs.
I slowly made the upgrades over time and as finances became available, its a great rifle
