September Fishing Lodge
Hi Guys,
I am organizing our annual fall fishing trip for this September (Sept 10-13, 17-20 or 24-27) and am looking for some ideas. Fished lower French River a couple of years, Red Cedar Lake for the last 3 and we are looking for a change in venue.
We are looking for a housekeeping plan for 6-8 guys in an area with good fishing (Pickerel, Bass and Pike). We have some guys looking at going further north into Gogama/Chapleau, some guys want to go NW into Spanish River/Sioux Lookout, and a couple of guys want try out Nipissing (Callandar Bay). I have heard that the fishing on Nipissing has been tough the last couple of years due to gill netting.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Has too much time on their hands
For the Northwestern Ontario, really nice place is Cobb Bay lodge, between Ignace, Sioux Lookout and Pickle Lake. We moose hunt up there, lots of lakes loaded with pike, and walleye, Not sure about bass. You would have to contact them as they just had a massive fire where they lost their home. They are planning on rebuilding in spring but not sure if they have any openings for fishing. Beautiful drive in cottages, reliable boats, lots of small out lakes with boats.
Eat Moose......12000 wolves can't be wrong!:moose:
