I have a lot of guns in my safes but I do not have just one gun that stands out ,instead for me it would be a pump action shot gun .make and cal no so important ,I do like the safety on the mossy ,but it is a pump that would be my go to gun .for every thing from bunnys to deer and turkeys .even moose with my slug guns .Dutch

    Default Favourite gun?

Coey 84 break action 12. I know it's not fancy but I have a lot of good memories with this gun nicknamed "Campy." It use to be held together by tape on the fore end but now is restored.

Pronounced "oo-gar-teh-chaya" and I own one, Grade II in 12ga. One of the most under rated SxS's out there and great bargain on the used market.
As for my "go to" gun it would have to be my 1955 Ithaca 37 in 16ga. Sweet handling, sweet shooting gun that hits where I point it.

My TC Encore now. Got a barrel for everything I do; 12ga Turkey bbl, 308Win, 204 ruger and the 50ML.
Other than this when I am with my pup it's my 20 CZ bobwhite - my first SxS and we've gotten to know each other fairly well.

I have an M48 in 35 Whelen that is my current favourite.

It would have to be my Winchester 670 in 30-06. It won't be mine for a whole lot longer though, I've committed to handing it down to my nephew when he's old enough. That shouldn't be for at least another 10 years or so...lol. I think it was made in the early 70's. Accurate enough for most reasonable deer/moose hunting ranges and one that I don't feel too bad about if I scar the wood dragging it through the bush. I've considered re-finishing the stock or ordering one from Boyd's, but it just wouldn't be the same gun anymore. It carries wear and tear from when it was my Dad's and it will have new wear and tear when I hand it down. I don't think I've ever posted a picture of it here before, I'll have to someday - just not at home right now.
