Has too much time on their hands
Big jump in Gas prices
Last Friday gas in Barry's Bay was 82.9. Today it is 93.9 What happened? Did I miss something going on in the world's oil market?

Big bounce in LSC the last couple of trading days. It was trading down at $44+ last week and hit over $53 today. Some analysts are still saying we may not be at the bottom and this was just a short squeeze playing out. Is it a bear market rally? Who knows?
But good to see the gas stations paying attention to crude prices though.

This just makes me furious , 2 days ago gas was .79 today , .96 .
That's .17 a liter = 65 cents a gallon in 2 days
In the usa there would be an outcry , here we just take it on the chin.
Oh yes the price in the usa went up also by 1.5 cents a gallon.
Tell me we are not getting ripped off.
Sorry for the rant.

Maybe Wynne slipped in her carbon tax and forgot to mention it?

Gas is always cheaper in the afternoon here than it is in the morning. Lately it's been around a ten cent difference.

Oil drops $30/barrel and the price slowly goes down $0.30/L, oil goes up $1/barrel and gas instantly jumps $0.10/L.
The next time an oil executive says gas prices are based on oil costs someone needs to slap them.
The next time oil is at $80/barrel we will see gas at $2.00/L.

If oil is starting to rise I expect Wynne to rush through her carbon tax to try and sneak in the increase while it's relatively low. Although it looks like we are about a week away from crossing the $1.00 mark now.
