Did Vet Prices Go Down?
Not sure if prices went down, or if they under charged me, or over charged me last year.
Brought Maddy in for her yearly check up.
118 after taxes for the exam, nail trim, 3 Years Rabbies, Bordatella, DA2P, Lepto, and Pavro, as well as a fecal exam.
Last year it was 130 taxes in and was only the exam, fecal exam, Lepto, and Bordatella
Either way, clean bill of health for Maddy, and we're looking forward to the upcoming season!

That's good for you. I haven't noticed any change , but not complaining. My vet writes me a prescription for my 14 year old setter's pain meds , to be filled at Shoppers and it saves me between 10 and 15 dollars a time. . Her idea. She's a great vet.
I get 10 % off all dog bills because I'm old .
( My vet won't give all those shots at the same time.)

Has too much time on their hands
Maybe your vet made a mistake. You should contact the vet immediately and complain.

not sure if this story is 100 % true or not, but a guy i used to work with had got a divorce, they had 2 children, both of which stay with him. well one day he gets a letter from the companies drug plan provider saying that they would no longer be covering the drugs for his child sandy. he called them up and was like wtf, sandy was my dog and she has bin dead for years... turns out, his ex wife had the dog as a dependant, and was getting her prescriptions filled as the dog LOL
fishy steve
id rather be lost in the woods, than found in the city!

Wow ! LOL I can believe it. When I pick up the drugs it says right on the paper in large letters DOG. For many people all crime needs is an opportunity.

If your vet told you to go to the pharmacy you are lucky. I had a toller that needed phenobarbitol and the cost was killing me, which I let the vet know. Someone advised me to get a script and go to the drug store. Vet charged me to write the script.

I was fortunate to find a good vet clinic. Five vets there, I like most of them, but one in particular.
Even though it's over one hour drive I go there.
I walked away from a vet who charged extra for writing a single script (after I spent hundreds in their clinic).
I sort of agree with Sharon - some vets would hesitate to give all these vaccines in one day.
Regular city vet would charge as follows
exam, nail tri $70
3 Years Rabbies $30
, Bordatella $30
, DA2P $30
, Lepto$30
Pavro (incl in DPPV)
as well as a fecal exam $40
$230 + tax

Sharon / Vom
What is the reasoning for not giving them all versus doing it?
This is how they did the last round as well (back when she needed the rabies along with the others) inbetween it was just the one booster or two, forget now.
