Just to add; I have a Bow stand about 600 yds in the bush from that spot, and in the 12 yrs it has been there with a trail cam over a bait pile I have maybe two pictures of him (or his predecessors) at the stand. And they were taken shortly after I had been out to throw down some corn, so he had followed me out and then followed me home.
Very few working breed dogs have any interest in chasing wildlife...why do you keep harping I need to tether him to the barn or walk him on a leash...???

I know Matt; I was being sarcastic. Not my usual style so that's why you didn't recognize it.

cant let my dog loose on my farm
cant play fetch with my dog anymore, unless she is on a leash...
if you go wolf hunting in vermillion bay you may be hunting dogs
all dogs are a big threat to deer
cats kill moose

Just let the killer in.
I had to give her a bath to get rid of all the deer blood
