ice fishing sultan industrial road

thinking of heading up late feb early march pickerel fisihing. maybe wakami lake any you guys fish up there in winter ?

Sorry pal , I was on that road in september and it was in great shape, dont know about winter travel or even if the road into Wakami is plowed.

some friends went up in December to Misinabi L, they fished for around 6 hours after being up there for a 4-5days, spent most the time trying to find dry wood for heat.

BBF... From Chapleau originally. Several options to fish off the Ramsey Rd. but man you are isolated. Not much left in Sultan/Bisco or Ramsey. Wakami Prk or Dam roads werent plowed the last time i was thru but that was around Christmas. Some stocking in the area for trout and it seems like you know where the pics are. Other options for pics off the King Kong, Blamey and Dore Rds. Good Luck.

watch out for the wolves at dawn and night fall, they'll come around ya, so b mindfull if in a hut, cause they'll sneek right up to ya and steal ur fish.
no jokes here, ur around my playing grounds growing up, but too old now to venture out anywhere like that anymore!!!!

I've seen wolves in that area also!!!!Great area to fish though!!!

well back from trip.fishing was not as good as we had hoped . made it to wakami lake 7am 2 fish all morning 5 guys , headed to another lake that always hot in summer fall and nothing pretty disappointed but see ya in spring lol
