I never got a notice, and planned to put in on time. Even asked advise here from a respectable member as I'm not good with online shenanigans. Well, as usual, I waited til a week before mine expired jan 27. I filled out the necessaries, paid $19 for fast track mail, and low and behold it was in my mailbox yesterday. You can fax the info to "start" ur file then mail the rest.
    This isn't a test run................Enjoy er'.......

My dad received a reminder this past year.

Do they have your proper address on file?

Always good to have these threads opened just to remind guys to look at their PAL/POL and see when it's due to expire and get the ball rolling in advance..

And if you have a prohibited RPAL, it is gone for good should you let it expire. You then MUST sell any prohibs.

I always renew mine 6 - 8 months in advance. Also when I send mine in I do it as registered mail.

Good thread.. I just checked and found that i have until the fall to renew.

Has anyone used the online renewal?

I cannot see anywhere if I can start my renewal now or wait until the last 3 months or so.. and I assume that the expiry is always set on your birthday?
