Float Tube set up.

I'd be interested in hearing what kind of float tube set up folks are using. Looking at trying some of the smaller stocked trout lakes and most of the pics show people in float tubes, but I'm a little unsure of what I'd need. A float tube and some sort of waders obviously. I have a set of waterfowling neoprene waders, however the boots are quite large, would these be suitable for use in a float tube or would I need to get new ones? Any help would be appreciated.
