Quinte Report
Heading to Quinte around the 24th of the month was wondering what baits to bring like color lure choice tips or tricks would be appreciated thanks

Try a deadly dick or Mr champ in silver with red and just jig it about an inch of movement had great luck doing this couple around 4-6 lbs and brotherinlaw got one 12 lbs. Good luck

Where in Quinte do you fish. I fish around Big Island in the spring but don't know if there is ice fishing there.

My favourite lures for the BOQ are 1) spoon Sidewinder with minnow 2) jigging lure 3/8 oz. Buckshot with minnow head 3) Another Jig either Swedish Pimple or Hopkins Smoothie with minnow or minnow head 4) Meggs Bad Boyz with minnow 5) Bright 1/4-3/8 oz. Jighead and Minnow
You could likely ask 10 people the same question and anyone of the 5 will likely show up at least 2-3 time in there reply.
They seem to be hugging the bottom and need to be worked up.

Red Mr. Champs, Buckshot, with minnow.
Orange "banana jig" with minnow produced two over 10 lbs.
