    Default Bancroft ATV travel

Hi everyone, looking to try the Bancroft area for the first time. Can anyone suggest a lake to try. Open for any species. Have an ATV for travel, just worried because I dont know if ATV are allowed on snowmobile trails. Road access is better for me, first time ATV rider and still learning the ropes. LOL

Robinson lake is right off of 62 , so no need for an atv . Plus if you don't have tracks you won't be getting very far.

Fishin Scuba is right about the snow depth. Unless you are on a packed/frozen trail you won't get more than ten feet. You will have to pick a spot like Diamond Lake where you can park in a plowed lot and take the frozen trail out onto the lake. There are a few other similar lakes but you will have to check each one. Colbourne, Jordan and Coe Island come to mind as well. Robinson didn't have a frozen trail that was useable a week ago.
