    Hey guys gota question. So I have a bunch or rabbit pelts to tan. Has anyone used the mini flesher on rabbit pelts? I started scraping and holy moly its gonna take me forever. Im thinking of getting a mini flesher
    "once more into the fray"

    first off rabbits have very thin skin so any kind of tool used to scrape them would rip it hide .second rabbits do not have any fat on there skin to scrape .s spoon with the hide over your knee will get off what is there just be very carful or you will ripe the hide .this is why rabbit skins are not kept other then for a little trim ,Dutch

    Have you checked the price of those mini fleshers. Not cheap. Agree with Dutch on the thin skinned.

    Ya they r pricy..I was scraping 1 pelt and was looking for an easier way. We started raising rabbits and did a few this weekend
    "once more into the fray"
