    Hard to say other than a raptor, although falcons catch their prey in the air more often then not.

    I figure it's an owl. Had one leave an impression like that in a field I was yote hunting at. Dunno what it got though.

    There was no feathers or blood left behind. His yard is in the city and there are lots of trees around for and owl or other birds to stalk the prey.
