Mystery tunnel
Cops were aware of it in mid Jan but we only hear about it now. What do you think.

Understandable why it wasn't made public, not much of a chance in finding people going to / using it, if it's all over the news. Will be interesting to find out, if we do, what it is all about.

Too early to think much of anything. No point in getting ahead of ourselves. I would only say its disquieting given the times, location and direction.

I am sure they had it under surveillance but I imagine the builder's got spooked off the site. We may never know and I guess the police are stumped as well hence why they are going public hoping the public may be able to help.

When I first heard about the elaborate tunnel this morning I was interested. Upon seeing these photos the tunnel is anything but elaborate. If it was going to be used in an act of terrorism one would think they would cover their tracks a bit better. How do you miss a mound of sand like that?
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Thats kinda what I was thinking as well....and with the lengths they went to quiet the use of the generator etc... you would think they would disperse the dirt a bit better and hide their equipment.........reminds me of when I was younger building some sweet tree forts with zip lines....but aside from that it really doesnt look too threatning to me, but does raise the obvious questions that why bother and why that location its a far cry from doing some digging and building in your own backyard, must be some sort of alterior motives.
I say leave it up instead of filling it in and give the homeless people some blankets at least its somewhere to seek a bit of shelter from these winds and cold.....rather hear about that on the news then them finding them frozen stiff on the streets.

People building something like that have a secret suicide wish or it's a bunch of kids messin' around. I lost a couple of friends like that when I was a kid. There were three of them building a "fort" that collapsed. Two didn't make it.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I find the rosary and the poppy found pinned to the wall inside a bit perplexing. That was just wierd.
