The little devil was headed for a Prize 1, when half way through a jaw-dropping duck search, she ran up on the bank behind me, turned her back to the gallery (so they couldn't 'see' her?) and pooped a mountain of steaming doo-doo. I had to re-send her on the duck search, so we got 3 instead of 4. She really smoked the duck search, too. You NEVER KNOW what they are going to think up on the big day. Was I happy? You bet. I got to go home with the nicest little dog and hunt with her all through the fall. Life is good.......just not predictable.
