    Default AKC Announces The Most Popular Dogs In The U.S. For 2014

    Talk about a never-ending winning streak! The American Kennel Club (AMK) has just released its list of 2014 Most Popular Dogs in the U.S., and the Labrador Retriever is holding firm to the top spot. This is the 24<sup>th</sup> year in a row the Lab has been the most popular breed in America, which makes it the longest consecutive reign at the top in AKC history. Long live the Lab!

    I'm actually surprised that bulldogs and beagles rated so high? Not rare but not exactly common either.
    I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

    Only one terrier in the list- and not much of a terrier. I'm not surprised, but I love them.

    Now how the heck did a Rotti make the cut that's what I want to know . Methinks owners thought they were lab pups till they grew and started slobbering . Lol
