I got a 2015 Ram 1500 a month ago. Not what I would have bought but its a company car so no say in it. I'm just hitting 5k this week and so far it's averaging 14.3 l/100. For a 5.7 Hemi 4x4 I consider that pretty good for a brand new engine and the temperatures we had this month. I actually really like this truck and resisted getting one because I never felt the need for a full sized P/U. All the power I need and it rides great. I'll reserve judgement on reliability until it has 100,000 kms on it but its a sweet ride. It's already full of dog hair, oh well.....

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Anyone have experience with the Nissan Titan?

I wouldn't touch another Nissan with a 10 foot pole.

2 of my duck hunting buddies are mechanics at Nissan in town, they said the Titans are in the shop more than any other vehicle they sell, 1 friend of ours bought a brand new pathfinder, and a few months later took Nissan to arbitration and won their case (Nissan took it back) after consulting with another person in Ontario who did the same thing with their Pathfinder, My wife had a Rogue, 26,000KM and front end was done.

i know a couple people that have had nissan titans around here and they loved them, and used them pretty hard... i looked into them when i was looking at new trucks, but became very turned off them when i seen their payload capacity... i think it was less then the rams...

I had one and maybe I got a lemon - it was an absolute piece of junk. Brake rotors would warp every 10-15K. Rad rotted out at 200K. Rear axle seals blew about every 70-80k. Rear diff went at 150K and the list goes on.

It was a very comfortable truck and drove real nice when it wasn't in the shop.

I will never go near anything Nissan again. I currently have a 2007 3/4 ton diesel Silverado and what a difference. Drove it off the lot new and just turned 511K (and a lot of that towing 10,000+). Other than regular fluids and tires I have had to replace one sensor and just did some work on the front end.

Mostly work related towing a 25 foot float with a mini-ex, but about 50-60K of that was towing the the fifth wheel. We've pulled the RV to Key West twice, New Mexico, California, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain NP, Yellowstone, Glacier NP, Carlsbad Caverns, Banff, Jasper, NW Ont, PEI and about to set out for Texas on March Break to do some boar hunting.

Stuck my nose in one on Tuesday, they're a sharp looking truck. Hope she treats you well.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?
