Looking for a deer hunting outfitter.
Hi, I'm looking to hunt deer either up towards North Bay or somewhere in eastern ont. My current deer spot here has pretty much dried up so I'm looking to travel for a week's trip somewhere with treestands or blinds set up. It's just me so an outfitted hunt with meals would be good too. My internet searches have been unsuccessful due to already booked or northwest ont. hunts(too far). Manitoulin island is a possibility but a long way around after the ferry quits. It would be a rifle hunt. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks.

really the only place i know of offering guided hunts in the north bay area... never dealt with them, but if steve is their guide, you are in for a excellent hunt... not sure if he is their guide or not, i just know he guides, and is a very knowledgable man, and his picture is on their website so im guessing haha
couple other options are little river resort in golden valley, and lost channel inn out near hwy 69, dont think they offer guided hunts but just accomodations...

id rather be lost in the woods, than found in the city!

Thanks Steve, little river resort is booked up and lost channel I have hunted there before for moose. Too many other hunters to be on public land with. South river resort is busy with ice fishing now so we'll see. Thanks though Steve.

Looking for a deer hunting outfitter.
Not really eastern but more in the middle. He has helped me with my boat and I'm hoping to use him in the spring for a turkey hunt. Really nice guy. He does a winter feeding program and spoke of a lot of deer. I might get the storey wrong but his daughters first deer was a ten. I'm sure she was put in the right place.

Have you thought about anything in Southern Ontario instead? There are probably more outfitters (and deer) too.
