Wish I had thought of it... a man cave in the literal sense. As long as the generator can run a beer fridge!
There is room for all God's creatures - right next to the mashed potatoes!

I think if I were forced to live in Toronto, I would do the same thing.
Spent 8 months in Oakville in 81/82. That was enough for me.
It's not just the city - its that it takes about 4 hours to get away from it.

Has too much time on their hands
If a guy who needs rescuing from the ice is charged with the costs of that rescue don't you think these kids should have to pay for the costs of the investigation and of filling in of the tunnel?

I think they should be held accountable for the costs, "PERSONAL USE" sounds like a pretty strange explanation to me! How about a full background check. Savage308

Don't think trespassing would apply since its common ground surrounding U of York which is located right beside regional conservation offices, I do think some fines should be applied though. Can't really let it go and encourage this activity.

I can't believe they are not going to charge them or at least fine them....

What charge? Trespassing, nope public land, maybe digging an unauthorized hole. Stand in a tree ,hole in ground, same diff. That would go over well with those on this site, that say we have way to much government interference...... Snap!...

I think something smells on this story. Seems like a lot of work and money for a man cave.
