Nice looking pup. They're so cute at that age.

I'm curious, was the sire Charlie?

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Boe is my first dog so we are having fun learning together. He seems to be a smart pup and a quick learner. At this point I am focused on really basic training and socialization. He responds well to his name, to "come", is quite good on the leash, and is making good headway on the house breaking.

I take him to the mall every day for a 30 minute walk, he loves meeting new people and has a great time. Half the clerks at the mall now know him by name, they don't notice me at the other end of the leash.

What a great looking pup.....What is the bread predominately used for? Do they have web feet? Are you training Boe for waterfowling?

Boe will be primarily used for upland hunting. I will also train him for early season duck hunting, but IMO he will be too small (40 pounds) for late season diver hunting.

As much as anything, I want a companion for the grouse woods and pheasant fields.

Congrats he looks great. They are very smart and learn very quickly how they can get themselves into trouble. I love mine as I am sure you will as well. Have fun!
