I'm with Jben on this one, the same rules apply to ALL political parties: What's best for the party is #1 what's best for the country/ province is at best #2 and if they are caught up in any kind of lie the first reaction is that the lowest rung on the ladder wears the scape-goat horns and gets the ax.
The only thing they forget is that when it's time for them to step down it's the lower rungs that get them back to ground safely.
(I don't really know what that means, it just sounds good following the previous metaphor)

I do agree 100%...... but I only posted this story because those PC supporters never would, and do ignore any PC wrong doing ...how about Alberta with the penthouse apartment- plane trips fiasco, etc. Never heard a thing on this site about it. Province does not matter if it is a lib who does wrong. How come no posting on any PC corruption? Sure... but they point out everything anti-lib. The tell, on this whole story ,was that that she won the Conrad Black award who in the h--- would want that on their resume? Wait till the pc's come to power in Ont....if and when, they will beholding to their supporters and lots of stuff will be around to complain about.

As crooked and self absorbed as that Premier was in Alberta she fell on her own sword when exposed. She deserved jail time as far as I'm concerned. The distasteful lieing con artist running Ontario would never have that much backbone. I consider the $$ Billions wasted to buy off ridings and perversion of the riding nomination process by Wynne no less of a crime than what Redford did out West. Redford resigned, Wynne would never admit to her crimes.

I would guess she is waiting for the courts to decide whether. she has broken the law. It is called due process.

Well, since this forum is called ONTARIO out of doors the fact that ALBERTA politics isn't front page stuff isn't much of a stretch. But to follow on your slim train of thought on this, please show me where I excused or condoned her behavior? In fact please show us where we "conservatives" are saying this party staffer should be given a pass?

In an effort to try and defuse something.
The world is rarely black or white, it's almost always a shade of grey.
Perspective.
Reasons why the Liberal party and their "leader" are so often slammed here.
1) Because they are continually stepping in meadow muffins..
2) Because their inability to do much right, and or for corruption (3 current legal wrong doing investigations)
3) Because their penchance for political corruption (if not legal) and pervert democratic process (vote buying and more)
4) Because the above and more are costing us....in real terms and in soft terms
Its not rocket science G, the "proof is in the pudding"
Harper and the Feds aren't slammed as often, or as hard because........
If and when any conservative party has a record like this parties..........
It is a huge leap of logic to assume people are heavily "right" biased because there aren't an equal number of threads, or equal amount of disgust or equal amount of X.
And as for Ms Wynne's "leadership" and lack there-of (accoutantability, morals competence and more).
Personally I don't know how she looks in the mirror or her children in the eye.
At the very least and giving her all kinds of latitude and benefit of the doubt.
You are aware aren't you she was caught bald faced lieing about the gas plant scandal?
At the very least, with Sorbara now facing charges and under investigation.......
See Nigel Wright
