    Thanks for sharing that, Mike. That www.capandball.eu outfit has some great videos. Did you see the one where they shoot up the armour? Reminds me of you shooting the cast iron frying pan with your .45.

    That's the first time I've seen them doing the paper/wax patch....neat.

    I also like the head gear he's wearing to sight with. Looks like a peep type sight he's wearing instead of on the gun.

    Pete...those percussion caps he's using....are they unique to Europe ? I have never seen that style before.

    Good history lesson and neat to see how accurate he can get with that old smoke pole.

    They look like standard musket caps. CCI makes them.

    That paper patch and wax business looks a lot more work than just lubing a hollow base Minie ball.
