Just proves that coyote hunting is not easy, how many times have you been out and have not got one or even called one out?

Well there could be several reasons - one thing the weather was really bad - snow, ice and real cold weather - it was only held for a couple days - or maybe our coyotes are smarter because of being hunted more - also I think that you have a lot more coyotes up there - the winner said he brought in three coyotes with a female sounding call but only shot the big one - some guys used dogs and others just calls - there were several other hunts that took place but this one is the biggest -

That would have something to participate in for sure. I don't take hunting anything as easy or for granted at all. How is this run? I can't imagine 4000 people all running the same area, so just how much area was hunted? Savage308

When we hunted in Alberta, it was not unusual to see a line of 6 to 8 coyotes travelling across the open prairie, there are a lot of them out there.

The whole state was open for the hunt - but you had to bring in your coyote by Sunday night for weight-in at the club's location in Frenchville - most of the guys were from the northern part of the state - the guy that won hunted with one other guy -
