Bow hunting GTA.
Is there anyone here hunted in GTA, whitetail bow hunting? I did not know you can hunt these areas. I see a lot of deer account from the GO train along the Lakeshore East.

Prohibited by By-laws... No discharge. Sorry.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

By-laws, bylaws, there must be a map showing local no-firearm discharge by-laws.

When we left Whitby there was no discharge along the lake between Oshawa and Toronto. That was fifteen years ago....
you could hunt anywhere North of Rossland Rd however......
Further west we had to go north of Steeles and east of 48 to get out of Scarborough to shoot.

Along the credit I always see very healthy herds of whitetail.... I'm sure some farmers or land owners hunt them with a bow.

Has too much time on their hands
I was on a job along the credit river a few years ago stripping top soil from a old farm stead to turn it in to a new subdivision .there was a area along both sides of the river that were protected and boy was there a deer herd in there ,everyday at lunch we would watch the deer come out and bed down under a group of apple trees ,boy you would not believe the size of the bucks we seen every day ,I bet some were close to 200 inch deer no kidding , thy live there whole life with out ever being hunted ,funny thing is we found some very nice stone points from the local first nations under the top soil as we stripped it off ,we would find them well having coffee break just by kicking dirt with your boots well standing around ,I would love to be able to bow hunt some of these old farmsteads before thy are all gone as the deer have no fear of humans ,sure was nice to see ,Dutch

Mississauga and Peel have a no discharge by-law as well.
I'd imagine you would have to be near Caledon to hunt deer from the Credit.
