15 yr old brother wants to turkey hunt

15 year old brother wants to turkey hunt this spring and ive been told he can purchase his own tags now if he has a signed piece of paper by parents? and has updated outdoors card.. he passed his hunting and firearms course. anyone have a link to what forms i need to print off so he doesnt have to use my tags! lol thanks

Does he have his Turkey course? He needs that first

If he has his full outdoors card, firearm licence and turkey course then all the paperwork should already be taken care off. Should be able to go out and purchase a licence. However, he must still be within arms length of an adult mentor.

He must bring one of his parents with him to purchase the license, the license place will have a form to be filled out by the parents.

Needs to go to Service ON Office, bring ID and ON hunter card, Parental consent may be needed. http://www.ontario.ca/serviceontario

Firearms/Hunting are Federal vs Provincial issue. At the ages of 12-13, my Children voluntarily took many courses etc... With parental consent, they took the ON hunter safety course, Federal Canadian Firearms Safety Course (Minors Permit 12-18), ON hunting apprentice cards (12-15) and ON turkey course. Because of a Federal Minors Permit condition of adult/PAL supervision, when possessing a gun, they had to hunt with me (one gun) until they turned 16yrs of age but they could have hunted alone with a bow from 15yrs on- no firearm licence required.
At 16, Parents requested that condition be removed, they could hunt at 16 with a firearm on their own.
