12 foot Tinny too tippy?
I think they are just fine. My favorite is prince craft 12ft for stability and weight. This is my buds boat. I have a 14ft Smoker Craft that is light enough for the roof. I do find that it doesn't hold weight as well as the Prince.
I have spent about 120 hours a year in tinnys some years and have never had a problem. I have fish standing up in them and trolled for hours. I have only fell once when I was a passenger and that is because I stood to fill the lake back up with my hose. Alcohol may have been a factor (I drank on shore of course). My buddy at the stern didn't go in as I didn't try to hard to stop myself knowing I could swamp the boat. Most time now I go to shore or take a pee jug.
For me this is the best way to fish as you can get into the back lakes.
In a group we have about 10 or 12 12ft boats most that are stashed in back lakes. The is one pair on a back lake that I find to narrow but I just try to be careful.
