In my former life I was a truck mechanic for 12 years before going back to school... Now (last 14 years) I have been a co-op/tech teacher...

I worked as a millwright,welder/fabricator from the time I quit high school , i worked on a huge variety of stuff all over this province , I've been in the livestock raising biz , I've washed chicken hauling trucks and worked in a factory when in high school as well , now I spend most of my time chasing critters all over southwestern ontario for residential commercial and municipal clients and when seeding season is in full swing I work for an Ag input company blending fertilizer and keeping equipment in one piece and rolling ,I also have a position on municipal council here and also sit on the bod of the conservation authority, and my biggest job is being dad to my 4 girls

Tugboat Captain. I hold a Master 3000 Ton Domestic and a Master 150 Ton Near Coastal. Been playing around in the marine industry for over 40 yrs and am close to calling it a day. (soon, I keep telling my wife?) I've sailed the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence Seaway, Mackenzie River/Western Arctic, Labrador Coast and a few puddles in between.
