How does that work? CTC gives the discount? (I.e comes out of their pocket) or the governments? (they actually give the discount to CTC employees)

Hi,
I just passed my hunters ed course and went to service ontario and got my outdoors card, fishing tag and small game tag. I will be taking the Turkey seminar on the 23rd.
My question is, can I purchase a turkey tag online or will I need to go to service ontario again to show the paperwork?

You'll want to take your paperwork to a service center. The reason being, once you pass the exam, you can't just go online and purchase a tag, as your paperwork isn't filled, and in the system yet. By the time that happens, and by the time you buy it online, and by the time it ships to you, the season should be just about over.
Pass the test, bring the paperwork stating you passed to the service center and buy your tags, this gets you into the system. The next time you go to renew your out of doors card, you'll get one with a "T" on it, indicating you have passed the course.

Looking at Green_head's license receipt it is nice to see that the government didn't forget to include the HST on the service fee.
