I've been told to reduce my milk intake because of its sugar content, the butterfat is ok. This means that there is no difference ( for me ) between skim or 10% cream in my coffee. Easiest way to lose weight is reduce sugar....

I am a diabetic, so I am limited as to what I can drink. No pop with sugar, so every night for dinner I have a Nestea Zero. For lunch I have a glass of diet ginger ale. I'm not much of a water drinker, but maybe I should be.

When you think of it, we are the only mammal on the planet that drinks milk way beyond the weening period. Something wrong there.

We're the only mammal that cooks its food, only mammal that makes cheese and butter from milk...and countless other things. Doesn't make any of it wrong. Bit of weird logic you have going there.

Yes - but if you are reducing sugar - make sure that you're not replacing it with artificial sweeteners like aspartame.

Have had 2 + big glasses of skim milk a day for 48 years , and now that I am OLD I still have great bone density. Fell HARD on the black ice cement in the laneway this winter . Big bruise on my hip but no fracture.

I drink a glass of milk with my lunch 2-3 times a week. Milk in my coffee, 3-4 cups a day. So far, so good.
