01/02 Hoyt Vortec info?
Hey all.
I have a old Hoyt Vortec with Zr200 limbs. It hasn't been shot in several years. I had it given to me about 7 or 8 years ago hunter with it for a season it two. It shot great! Then got set aside for several years now. The bow itself is in great shape just need to replace the string. I know it will be lacking the fancy new technology of the new bows. I'm just hoping to see if anyone had info or details about the Vortec bows. I was given very little at the time and it's hard to find anything online. If it's advisable Id like to get it restrung and take it out in the field again. I'm hoping to get back into bow shooting/hunting but my budget for a new bow isn't that big at this point.
Any info or advice would be great!

I'd take it to a shop and have them look it over, unless you know what your doing. With it being that old I'd have it restrung. The strings I use are 60x custom strings. Very good strings and affordable. They're online.

I'd take the bow & visit Saugeen Shafts if I were you (chech-it out on the net). Great place.
