are local Ct had three boxes of the heavy 567 shot as well ,I would have likes to have tried a box just to see but not at 45$ for 5 shells ,,the guys in the USA are all bragging about a new #7 heavy weight by federal ,,thy are getting huge numbers at 40 yards with it ,,Dutch

I think are laws have not kept up to the times and heavier then lead loads ..this heavy stuff hits so much harder then lead you can move down two sizes in shot ,,The usa guys are talking about a average of 140 pellets in a ten inch circle at 40 yards with a 20g ,,#7 heavy ,,best of both worlds great swarm and heavy hitters ,,Dutch

This is a good point, Dutch. Certainly mixing in #7's with a blend of #5s and #6s should be allowed, especially given the fact it's better than lead. But, I don't think there is anything in the rules that says what sort of load you have to use, provided they are 4s, 5s, or 6s. You'd never catch me using a pheasant load on a turkey, so perhaps this rule should be re-addressed to accommodate the advances in turkey load technology. These new #7 loads aren't exactly your dove or grouse load!

The USA guys are taking birds with #9 tungsten shot out of 410's with zero issues up to 50-60 yards.

The Canadian Tire store in Orillia has had this stuff on the shelf since before Christmas and I would bet it was there long before that.

Well, I tried this stuff out on a couple gobblers. Seems to kill em deader. And for the price, it had better!
