Hello Pete, I’ve heard of Bell's Palsy, but never knew what it was until your post. Did a little reach and along with replies to your post I now have an understanding of what it is. Can’t say much else other than get well and please keep us posted on your challenge.

I know two people that had it and with both it was temporary. Get well Pete.

Has too much time on their hands
Thanks for the information and well wishes, folks!
What's scaring me most is the vision loss in my left eye. All I can see is fuzzy shapes. Luckily I am right eye dominant.

Hope your recovery is speedy and complete.

I feel the same way! It's especially rough when an elderly couple both have health issues. Then it's a non stop round of visits to doctors and hospitals!
My wife is a visually impaired invalid and our doctors are insisting that we stop living in the "boonies" and move into a town. What a horrible thought!

A friend of mine had it for a couple of months. Her husband joked if he wanted to marry Rocky, he would have dated Stallone. It was a good thing she has a sense of humour. Cleared up with no ill effects. Pete, try to make the best of it. Perhaps doing some Chretien impressions would lift your spirits (then again you would have to be able to say two different things out of either side of your mouth).
